Explore 3.4.1 is out! Learn about future development here.
Welcome to the Explore Programming website! Explore Programming is a Scratch mod by powerpoint56.
What's a Scratch mod? Scratch is a programming language by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab. You can drag around blocks to create code, and then share your creations with others. A Scratch mod is where you add features/blocks to Scratch.
Why "Explore"? The purpose of Explore is to make using the Internet, files from your computer, and other places outside of Scratch easier. With this Scratch mod, you will be able to "Explore" these places and others to let you do more things.
I want to try it. To download Explore, please go to the Download page. If you'd like to learn more before you download, check out this promotional video.
Wiki article: Explore has a wiki article (made with the excellent help of curiouscrab). It is located here.
Developing Explore: I'm happy if people want to make their own versions of Explore. To turn off fill-screen, shift-click the File menu and select "Developer Mode".
Also, check out powerpoint56's main website.
